Short Profile

Walter Moldan holds a master degree in electrical engineering from the university of Graz (Austria) and a MBA from INSEAD. He has been working in industry for 5 years and 20 years in private equity. Prior to setting up CMM in 2006 he was a partner with Henderson Private Capital, UBS Capital and IMM Industrie Management München. Walter invested in European small/midcap later stage companies and chaired the board of several portfolio companies on behalf of the investors. He initiated value enhancement programs, negotiated restructuring packages with banks, installed and coached executive management and prepared portfolio exits.
